Six more airports to be set up in Telangana: KTR
Hyderabad: IT Minister KTR said that there is a need for further development of the aerospace sector as per the inspiration of the Wings India 2020 program with the slogan ‘Flying for All’. He said that the international airport in Hyderabad is developing with the best standards and has already received many international awards. KTR stated that the government is sincere to develop software industries in the surrounding cities and towns along with Hyderabad, and there is a need for airports if industries are to develop there. That is why new airports are going to be established in six important areas of Telangana, he said. As part of this, Minister KTR clarified that green field airports are going to be set up in Warangal, Adilabad, Kothagudem, Jakranpally, Peddapally and Mahbub Nagar (Addakal).
