Labor unions, TRTC away

Hyderabad: Central labor unions said that they have called for a nationwide strike today (8th) to protest against the anti-people policies of the central government. Labor unions claimed that the government has already decided to sell Air India and BPCL, the public sector companies in the country, and the center has already privatized 12 airports. The labor unions explained that after the merger of BSNL and MTNL, their workers lost their jobs, and they are also opposing the privatization of railways, corporatization of defense products manufacturing units and merger of government banks in the same manner. The joint platform of farmers and agricultural labor unions have announced their support for this strike in the name of Grameen Bharatband with their demands.
