Telangana Police in Karnataka and Chennai
Hyderabad: Teams of Gachibowli police are searching for the whereabouts of software engineer Rohita, who disappeared on 26th of last month, in Chennai and Bangalore. Rohita, a native of Chadar Ghat, is working as a software engineer at Apple India Private Limited in Nanakranguda. Staying away from her husband due to family disputes, she is living with friends at Seleptia apartment in Nanakranguda financial district. In this order, she went out of the house last December 26 in the afternoon and has not returned yet. As her cell phone was also switched off, on December 29, her brother Parikshit lodged a complaint at Gachibowli police station that his sister Rohita was missing. Her brother has stated in the complaint that he left the laptop along with the ID card in the flat.
On Sunday, after receiving information that she was found in Secunderabad, Regimental Bazar area, the police immediately reached the spot and launched a thorough search. As part of the search, CI Srinivas and SI Surender Reddy checked the CCTV footage in the areas of Secunderabad but Rohitha’s whereabouts were not found. After receiving the information that Rohita was staying with her friends in Bangalore, the police teams left for Karnataka. According to the information given by some people, a team of four policemen went to Chennai. In this background, the police are collecting information along with Rohitha’s family members and fellow employees.
