vebnox / Hyderabad : 26 media professionals from Vietnam visited Nagarjuna Konda. They are undergoing training in Journalism and Public Relations at Dr Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute in Hyderabad. The delegation on Sunday visited Nagarjuna Hill, one of the richest centers of Buddhist learning in South India. The training program is sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme. Media professionals visited the ASI Museum and were mesmerized by the collection of Buddha stupas and related articles. They worshiped the idol of Buddha.
Media professionals also visited Buddavanam project. Watched videos of famous Buddhist monk and scholar Acharya Nagarjuna. They prayed there and sought the blessings of Acharya Nagarjuna for their professional and personal prosperity. Media experts claimed to have heard about the birth place of Buddha and Acharya Nagarjuna from their parents. “Visit to Nagarjuna Konda, ASI Museum, Buddhavanam project was a once in a lifetime opportunity for us by Dr. MCR HRD Institute, ITEC Division, Ministry of External Affairs,” said the delegation.
